Good morning fellas...
Yesterday wasn't so Sunday "Funday" woke up early to drive the Comanche around to get fluids and tires rolling...
First start up 5 seconds later huge puddle on the floor(antifreeze)....
Yeah...I gotta take everything apart and make sure it's not a head gasket...
But noticed a few things...missing an exhaust manifold bolt, loose intake manifold bolt....

There are small freeze plugs/casting plugs on the intake side of the head, maybe one popped or rusted out. Check that before removing the head. You will have to remove intake and exhaust manifolds still.

Well it ended up being the water jet freeze plugs on the head...I cleaned it off and shook the truck and antifreeze just started coming out...

Clean it out and replace it. Might as well do the others while you're in there.

Yeah but I'd rather replace it than to happen to me again if I were to be driving it....or in the driveway like it did to me

It's easy and there's no way you can screw it up. Shouldn't have to remove the head at all.
