Does it have to be 4x4? If not, we can drop one of these spare 4.0L's into the 86. All we need is a transmission. 2wd 5spds are easy to find compared to 4x4 models.

Damn, sucks about your foot man. If ya need anything, just ask.

Good morning guys.

Walt, do you happen to have a spare set of 3" lift coils? I know you want to lift your MJ 6.5 or more and i have a set of RC 6.5" coils for trade. I want to put a 3" on my brothers XJ. I have leafs, just need coils.

I had the same optima battery for ten years. And I gave it to my little cousin. I paid little over 100 for it wayyyy back then. It never corroded and I put that battery in multiple jeeps race cars boats. I would pull it out and use it for trolling on the boat. It was under water for 4 days on one of my jeeps because it was stuck in a pond. The new ones are expensive. I have one in both jeeps. But im hard on equipment and I neglect haha. Just My wooden nickels worth.

Good morning!

Finally had a day off yesterday and was able to install my lift. I went with conservative with this for now as we have been using the XJ a lot to tow our tiny camper and a lot of road trips. I went with a 3" RC lift from Rockridge 4wd and 31x10.50-15 General Grabber AT's mounted on 15x8 Cragar Soft 8's with 4.75 B.S. from Summit Racing. While I was under there I also installed a new RC steering stabilizer, Daystar front extended bump stops (mine were completely missing), Daystar rear extended bumpstops and a new Moog problem solver track bar. I reset the toe in to 1/8", was at 7/8" toe when I was done with the lift, will be good for around town till I get the alignment done on Friday.
