Good morning guys. Tearing down the 3.0L this Saturday to assess the damage. Going to be driving the 93 XJ for a while instead. It's only 2wd so no offroading for me. That and the wife will kill me.

But it's something to learn from but at least we can tell a story from it...
When I had to remove the intake and exhaust manifold I had them out in under an hour...I could imagine the head would've been another hour or less to remove...
I think I might do it towards the end of the year to refresh the head...

Hey dudes, just wanted to say thanks for helping me get squared away on the U joints. Basslicks and I knocked em out easy peasy after a few mishaps including a harbor freight vise that exploded into pieces on us.
Also wanted to mention there is a Commanche out at 40 East Service Center in The Ocala National forest. They had the grill off, don't know what they are doing with it but might be something to look into.

Anyone near orlando with a u joint press? Got to do the two near my transfer case now. May just pick up the tool so I have it, but thought I'd ask first. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I was telling my buddy about that bench vise as we were on our way down to Orlando to buy him a ZJ. He got a big kick outta that.

Morning all. As alot of you know Ive been struggling the last few years to make ends meet. Im getting close to looseing the fight with homelessness. Might be needing to say so long to the forum. As no internet will be financially supportable. I might be needing to trade Jeep for a van for better sleeping arrangments. I will try to keep my cell on as long as possible. I would everyone here Ive meet on here are a great bunch of people I consider more than friends more like family. I will try and post out come and future of my wear abouts as I can.
