Maybe because it's a 4cyl. It's possible that with the bell housing and the bellhousring mount. That it's just sitting farther up then it would be in a 4.0.

No, I don't lick fish.
My rear bumper was pretty messed up too when I got it. I pulled it off, laid it face down in the grass and massaged it with a 2x4 and a BFH... it's almost perfectly straight now.
Not a bad looking specimen, overall. Get that wiring straightened out and it sounds like you'll be good to go.

For 600 dollars other then the few stupid issues its alot better Cherokee then my 98 2dr was. No frame cracks transmission shifts buttery smooth. Compared to the old one. No crazy notchyness in the transfercase when it put it in 4x4 and this one has tow package with the LSD in rear end. Just no 3.73s I was hoping it would come with.. Drives better. just everything about it. Is alot better. I feel like I way over paid for the old one. But I also bought that one when I was over seas a few months before I got home. So I had money to spend and I wanted it. But it's what ever.
Right now I'm piecing partsthe swaybars anyways. Trying to do it cheaper then buying the kit. Along with double sheer track bar cause together from rough country for a 4.5in lift. I would get the kit but I don't need the sway bar links and stuff cause I'm removing I know it's going to need it.

Figured they would be the same...
I’ll eventually get around to getting the wires
Just not in the plans right now...
Might be in the plans to sell the Cherokee...
Having 2 jeeps down really killed me...gotta have a reliable car/truck and not projects to scoot around any more...
But the Comanche is staying...just gotta clean it up and do a couple things to it

If he doesn't want 'em, I might be interested.
