Yeah, had to store parts/throw out old wandering stuff that’s been in my tool box/and make stuff fit...
I didn’t get much done yesterday but biggest thing to do was to mount the winch into that bumper...
Since it’s a hidden winch one, the thought process wasn’t all thought out...
When you mount the hawse fair lead onto the bumper you have to find one that doesn’t block/disturb the holes to mount the winch...
Once that’s accomplished you’ll soon realize that when you mount the winch the bolt head that holds the hawse fair lead in place will scrub the drum so I had to add 3 washers to each mounting hole to lift the winch up so it doesn’t scrub the drum pic below
I also wanted to mount the cavfab 3-link crossmember onto the Cherokee but it got dark before I knew it and the killer mosquitos were out to get me so I packed up my stuff

Good morning. Atleast I got my SOA in before it rained Sunday. Got 1.5" more than before and I haven't even used the 1" lift shackle yet. Was at 38.5", now at 40" from ground to bottom of flare.

Hopefully I’ll be going by the junkyard this week to pick up a 4.0 power steering pump and reservoir to get this cooling system swap/exhaust manifold swap/etc swap to install the stubby hidden winch bumper...

I got 4.0L ps pumps if you need one. Just need a reservoir, 20 bucks at Morris 4x4. Just save me your 2.5L stuff. Lol

Well just ordered a new rear xj bumper from dirtbound Offroad
I don’t like the rear tire carrier too much so I’ll be selling it
If any of you guys are interested we’ll talk details

Nothing wrong with the rear tire carrier it works flawless
A 35x12.5x15 is really heavy in the rear and with the no lift relocation bracket and 1” shackles-it slams into rear body part where the bumper mounts to when going over bumps or potholes in the streets
It gets real annoying, I took off the spare but it defeats the purpose of having the carrier in the first place unless I get smaller tires/bigger lift which I don’t plan to so Im selling it and carry the spare in the cargo area for when I do long distance trips
