Just got home. What did you guys do to my jeep? It won't start! Battery was replaced/swapped with a new one, wires were traced and fuses were checked: all done by my old man. I'm proud of him, he learned. But what he did in 5 hours I did in 5 minutes. Got up under it, told him to turn the key, and the starter just was making the grinding noise. No school tomorrow, time to replace the starter.

That would be great! Do they allow more than 1 tent per site?

It's getting 10 Volts to the starter all day. It just makes the grinding noise. So the starter motor is spinning so it must be the gear.

Thanks. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just sloppy women all over the place in europe. I dunno why people say european women are nicer. But I come home to my starter just grinding. I dunno what the deal is. Deciding if I should just replace the starter or if it's something else. Suggestions?

If all it did was sit for a while I would say that the starter was on it's way out and just decided while you were gone it would just give up. Sheit happens, especially when it comes to electronical parts...Plus it is grinding, so the starter is probably toast. Sorry about your luck!!
My 2 cents
