Morning all, what's happening...

Got my front axle done last night about 8PM, now I got to weld on a missing swap bar mounting bracket and paint the biotch...Then it's axle shafts back in and start mounting them under the truck(hopefully this weekend)...Gonna get the intake worked out this week along with mounting the air compressor and holding tank that way when the axles go in I just have to hook up the one air line to the back and I will be fully locked...Then just need to find a DS and install the SYE...and so on and so on...

Problem I see with that is that it is going to get wet everytime it rains and I want something to be somewhat dry in wet weather when driving in a storm or what not...I could give two ****s about the noise but I don't want water to become an issue, and the way he has the tube running, if water fills the filter or cowling compartment, the intake is going to act like a vacuum and pull the water right down the intake tube that is running down hill anyhow...

Thanks for the link though...

Actually, if you run a hose over the cowl, the way it's designed is to not let water in. Hard to explain without an example.

OK, I will wait for an example...waiting......lol

I think I am going to just do a homebrewed cold air intake, was gonna put a snorkel but I don't have the room with the compressor going in under the hood, got to do away with the intake box...

Mornin' freaks!

I am hard on my rigs, but I also baby the motor. Anything so much as a hickup, I have all my diag stuff on it. It appears the crank decided to go for a stroll.
