I had the kind you brush on there and painted all the way around it. I'm not talking about rtv either

Hmmm. Rtv wouldn't cause it to leak though would it? I only put five pea sized drops around the entire pan. It was barely enough to hold the pan on lol

I think the deal got pinched. Get a gasket holder not a maker. Big difference.
