South Florida Dysfunctional 4x4's
#1172
Alright guys, made it out to the Bonita "prairie" as my friends call it ( east bonita ) Saturday night and had a cook out. It was pretty sketchy though because I was by myself but I made it out pretty far. Any who, I found a better place to ride. Well not of you care about your pant job, but I'll post pics soon. It's in east/south Naples. It's dunes at first then turns into narrow trails with sticks that scratch the heel out of any vehicle, then it opens up to a lake where there's a levy that you can drive on. Wasn't really that wet out there, even though there was a few holes where 4wd was a must lol. All in all a good weekend. But if anyone wants to make any plans on the weekend of the sixteenth let me know...

Went to install my lift today. Started on the rear first got the driver side no prob. But on the passenger side the front leaf spring bolt broke the nut loose inside the frame rail. But measured the height and that got me 3.75 at the rear. Here's a pic with the 30x9.50s.

Cut a notch under the nut on the frame rail and put a wrench on it to hold it. I had to do that on both sides.
Anyone have the caster shims that go on the LCA frame mounts?

You really have them? The ones that have two bolts into them and are moved around with the shims?
I asked because I bought drop brackets and I would rather not worry about breaking my current ones off since I bet they are super rusted.
I am guessing for this weekend when I hopefully install my drop brackets. Take a picture of the part just in case so I can confirm?
