He wasn't there. His coworkers said he had to swerve to avoid a 4 wheeler on the way to mud fest in okeechobee (sp?) a few weeks back. Looked like a 6.5 RC lift. Definetly RC. But dude was running bone stock steering components. His trackbar angle was horrible!!!!

If it was OK before and now it is missing my guess would be that you have a wire crossed, a wire off the cap or plug, a bad NEW wire, bad cap, or something you changed has failed(rare)...

The list goes on and on of what it could be but if it was fine and now its missing that tells me either bad new parts or installer error...

Just trying to help before you go too deep or get crazy on "What it could be"...
NO I haven't changed cap or wires yet.

that was me that replaced all that. and i have a miss on cyl 1 now. still havn't had a chance to take a look at it though. it ran great for about 4 days, and then started it up and i knew right away before the light came on. now though, it's only doing it after it heats up. on cold starts it's fine til it hits opperating temp. i'll have time to look at it tonight though.

I got it running.
Had spark and 40 PSI of fuel.
Started cranking it gave throttle and it fired up.
Now have engine codes 12 and 24.
12 is power to ECM.
24 is TPS

Thats odd, I would check your plug wires as it is harder for them to work as the temp on the wire goes up...coil has more resistance as it heats up as well but that "should" affect all cylinders if it was the coil...
CPS may be doing something stupid also.

I may hit Mudfest on the way home Sunday!!!

yeah that's going to be where i start. i'm gonna swap wires from one cyl to another and see if it follows the wire. if that doesn't work, i'll do the same with the plug, then chech the cap and rotor, then if it still has the problem look at the fuel side of things. if that doesn't work, time for a compression test. and if that doesn't reveal anything i dont know what i'll do next.
