So i poked around a the engine a little tonight and so far no luck. i eneded up running out of daylight, so all i was able to rule out were the wires and plugs. tomorrow i'll check the cap, rotor and injectors if i have to take it that far.

Im only on 4" w/31s. Dont plan on going higher with my Xj, wife has trouble getting in now cause of her bad ankles. Now I have a 76 Cherokee Chief S thats already got 38s and D60s Im building for a fun toy. I have a little fun but dont bash up my Xj (its a 1985, not easy to find a Non-Chrysler Xj) As for motor, yes i swapped it to a IH tractor motor but not for HP or speed but Low end TQ instead. Shes not the fastest but pulls like a diesel. In short, everyones Xj here is different in one way or another and built based on need.
