hey guys i need some help i was trying to get my rear wheel cylinder replaced but as i was working on it i realized that the one i have is the wrong one, the brake line fitting doesn't thread on. i used auto zone part # 30089 and it was the wrong one anyone know run into this problem

Did you try starting line with wheel cylinder bolted up or loose in backing plate ?

I went so far as to completely remove the line and test it at a bench but nothing
