Blocks make the axle work like a lever against the leaf springs. Axle wrap is a big issue with blocks because of that lever action

Yeah but remember Gary has black magic so everything goes out the window.
Everyone is entitled to their own method, but its simple physics, blocks put more stress on your components, sometimes to the point of failure, sometimes not. Theirs plenty of horror stories with blocks that I would rather be excluded from. Especially on a daily driver

And the autozone shackles are cheap. If you don't have shackles yet get those, a lot safer.

Josh, was with Paul tonight. Got the dimensions you sent via text. If you have the broken block, it'll make it 10000 times easier to reproduce.

Yeah I still pulled him outta the mud, one time........he pulled me, like 7 times....when I was a low rider on 3 inches. Effin mudpit! I got thru on the 8th! Axle drag...
