The yoke nut is a wicked pain in the ***, shops quoted $500 plus. We tried to do it, but nope, wouldn't move. $75 for an axle that you know is good is fine in my book.

I hold the yoke with my 24 in ch pipe wrench handle resting on ground then breaker bar with cheater pipe . works every time just for future reference.

Was $100 for a "bearing kit", with a warranty, plus was quoted 3-5 hours labor. Which seemed wicked high to me....soooo now I got a spare, for $75, after I swap the axle out. With the $ I saved, might as well lock it while it's out.

So $250 for a spartan locker, $75 for a axle. $325 is way less then $500, and I'll be locked up front.
