I'm only going about 2.5". just enough to throw some 31's under there with out having to trim. the shocks are gonna cost more than the other components combined. $70 for 2.5" steel front spacers, $50 for rear 1.5" shackles, $40 for 1.5" AAL, around $250 for some good nitro shocks (@offroadordnance... i tried getting info on scratch and dent shocks, but they claim they dont have any.) I know there is some stuff i'm missing, but i figure i'll spend another 150 on top of that then tires will be a later when my current tires need to be replaced.

Stock shocks will be ok for a while. You might want to do extended front bumpstops while frontend is apart. The rear brake hose might be a little stretched but Morris has the YJ unit for cheap and it was Raysbestos made in USA when I got mine. You gettin Adjustable TB or drop bracket?

I'm not sure about the TB. I have to look into prices. it'll all depend on how much of a difference there is.

People will relate different experiences regarding whats tolerable axle shift. New poly bushings will wear/behave alot different than rubber bushings with a few miles on them.

I meant difference in price. i dont like the idea of my axle being shifted to one side at all so i'll have the parts to correct it before doing the lift, but i just dont know which route i'll take. i'm leaning more towards and adjustable TB just because it'll be new and i would asume a little beefier than the stock one.

The adjustable is better since you can use it if ever you add more lift. I'm pretty sure bumpsteer is better since the TB angle is same

Depends on driving habits dropping tc helps a lot .Floridas pretty much flat ground automatics got factory 355 you should regear even with 31s you don't have to run 33 .but out come when rideing would be more more enjoyable here.
