Hell im running 31s with an auto. Does great. I'll bog down in really thick soupy **** but it crawls on out.

And if you do a 3in. Your gonna want more lift. Trust me! "somethingclever" came by my house like 8 months ago with his rig. And I looked TINY compared to his. Go with a 4.5 full leaf lift. Get some 33s and your done! My mistake was going with a 3in and 31s. Then i saw Josh's jeep, wheeled with him, saw how much more **** he could do, so I went way bigger then I planned. Opened up a HUGE can of worms, and I got lucky and avoided the SYE.

Now when I wheel I can do some crazy **** with my rig. Sitting over 6inches, (yah no sye and rides like a caddy, does 80 fine on the hwy). Just be smart with the wallet, and do your research. Now I just need some 33-35s. And ill be biiiig boy status! Lol damn 31s make me look tucked under like crazy, and a lil top heavy.

So I just watched a Honda Accord catch some air coming off of 595 west to 441 north. car spun and ended up heading toward the canal then spun a little more went off the road just before hitting the guard rail and caught air as it headed down the side of the road..... it ended up stopping in a ditch that was full of water. the people in the car were fine, but that car is ****ed..... that is all.... have a good day.

If you're bogging down with 31's and stock gearing, don't you think 2" wider 33's will be much worse? I never looked into it, but at 33's or 35's are brake upgrades warranted, especially if an A/T is involved?

I had a 4.5" RC lift and 33 swampers I did not do a SYE but I am re geared to 4:10 front and rear. But now I'm on 33's with a 6.5 RC and still no SYE, and same gears, but I did get adjustable T bar, RC drop brackets and Rubicon express ADJ uppers and the RC, came with ADJ lowers.

On top of that I got my 4.5" for sale 200$ if u want it ill bring it down to 4 wheel parts on Saturday. The only thing u would need Is mabye ask something clever (josh) if he can warrantee out the shackles and buy the shocks u want for the lift the RC ones are garbage, I bought pro comps es9000 those are cheap and nice.

Pretty sure he means getting stuck when referring to bogging down as for brakes if you've got the double diaphragm booster should be no issue with bigger tire common sense need to be involved also. Also running low range is a must if your not regearing down here .When in the swamp.
