I've been planning to do a lift on the 98 cherokee but wanted to know what is a best lift with out driveline vibes or having to get new drive shafts....I was going for 4.5" lift and 33s and maybe 35s after regearing in the future

the reason I was asking is cause the deal was on the d35 kit, but come to find out it doesn't include the shocks. still a decent deal considering it comes with everything else including lca's and discos.
Another question though. If I get this kit, what's the likelyhood of needing to do an sye? though I'v'e been given the green light by my wife for doing quite a bit of work on the XJ, this kitwould be pushing the final budget so an sye would be out of the question.

Man you left early & the 4wp event, I didn't get a chance to talk to ya. Love the RHD, I want to convert mine. Once I do my 8.8 swap I'll be ready to mud but if you want to go out to the place that country was talking about let me know.

You honestly won't know until you lift it as each Jeep is different. I just installed the same kit with RE twin tube dampers and I get some vibes around the 3,500 to 4,000 rpm range but it isn't so bad that it causes concern. While the suspension is settling, it has gotten better.

Death wobble from my horrible alignment is more of an issue.

yea i saw your rig as well, but didnt know who any one there was, and didnt want to start asking around who the owners of the xj's were haha, thanks for letting me know about corbett, ive been going every weekend for the past month, only at night though usually get there around 11-12 midnight, eat s*** for a few hours and leave, last weekend there was 2 regular cars filled with white kids halling *** through the dirt road hahahaha me and my buds were parked off to the side and they passed by hanging out the window yelling with loud music, (this was like at 1:30ish am) probably were on acid or something, definitely will pick up a pamphlet or check them out on the web, i go camping out there all the time, and use to hunt out there with the ol man when i was a wee lad

haha yea he was knocked out and youd be surprised how fast 10lbs of limp dead weight starts to weigh hahaha yea ive known chop since high school, he actually passed by my house yesterday on his way home, he lives like 4-5 blocks west of me.

i wanted to ask see if you guys can give me solid imput because i havnt been able to find exactly the answer to my questions, mostly because my jeep is rhd and im wondering if things are different besides the obvious, i want to go 3"s because i think that at that height i dont have to mess with the track bar and other steering components, aftermarket ones are more expensive for rhd and only a few vendors have such things, so my question would be how high can i go without messing with major components such as steering, replacing brake lines, keeping stock control arms for aftermarket short arms non adjustable, ect, looking for a basic lift for now until i stop dd the jeep, would like to be some what ready for just about anything

another question, im about to pull the trigger on a xrc front bumper and a xrc 10k comp winch, my question is can i just install bumper as normal and winch away anything short of 10k lbs or would i have to beef up the mounting of the bumper to the chassis?

also any old parts you guys may wanna sell lmk looking for the following

control arms
complete snorkel
light bar
roof rack thats mounts to the gutters
maybe some performance mods
maybe anything else thats cool and or useful

lmk

That's part of the reason Corbett n other areas are getting strict. Kids getting messed up then going for joy rides n getting hurt. I haven't hunted in over 8 years but just build buggies n drive em for everyone so they can hunt.

Everything except the RHD part is the same. Lol. As for talking to any of us, never be afraid to. We all love our Jeeps n have kids ourselves. All are welcome.
