Do you know if he's making the plates or using Thor plates and welding on the flares?

Haven't fully designed it yet, but it seems like he's making them from scratch to cut down on costs

This is what I came up with for the fenders. None of the measurements are exact because I was trying to use a measuring tape at night lol. The basic idea is there. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment

Since your going from scratch you might as well cover the lower 1/4 too. That way you don't have to get a separate piece of armor for it.

Agreed^... Also what's your plan for attaching it to the dogleg were there is no plate attached to the tube?

Hey guys, I'm planning a few days of camping up in Worthington State Park. I could some advise on wheeling trails up in the North Jersey area. If anybody has a general area to point me in it would be appreciated.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but the part that sticks out is where the tube will be welded. The first picture is just the plate. Everything will be welded onto that

The dog leg (piece right behind the rear door) on an XJ is very narrow. You won't be able to build a full flare because there's no room to bolt ot to the 1/4 panel. That's why other flares like Notch and Bushwacker mount on the front portion on the rear door.

Maybe it's hard to tell from the picture, but that piece is 1.5in wide. There is plenty of room to bolt it on. Also, there will be some sort of inner fender support that isn't designed yet

Yea but what about the inner wheel wheel... There is two pieces of metal in there and they separate ( wont make a good mounting surface or functional spot to get to on the inside of the dogleg...

I see what you mean. Well it's all trial and error. I'm happy you are giving input because I would have overlooked that. H.O.R.E. makes the same ones and I'm sort of using their design as a reference. You can check out how they do it
