Sooo you guys jinxed me, the Heep was acting up this morning, merged onto 695 off of 70 and hit the brakes and the damn thing darted left. Let off the brakes and its pulling moderately to the right.... but something is dragging.... I get to caton ave to go to work and all I smell is grease and brakes. Pull in the lot and smoke is rolling off the passenger front.... Seized caliper I presume but the thing hasn't cooled down enough to even get near it lol

Ok, think I can do that. Was thinking of this one:

Amazon.com: Sony Xplod XM-GTX6040 600W 4/3-Channel Car Stereo Amplifier - Customize & Amplify Sound From Your Car's Audio System!: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Sony Xplod XM-GTX6040 600W 4/3-Channel Car Stereo Amplifier - Customize & Amplify Sound From Your Car's Audio System!: Car Electronics

Will this work for what you're talking about?

Is your e-brake light on? Could just be air in the system. I had a rear passanger wheel cylinder go out and was sucking in air everytime I hit the brakes. Didn't matter how much I bled them, still got a hung caliper everytime I took it for a test drive after each bleed. One I replaced the cylinder and did a full system bleed it was good to go. Just a thought

probably going to end up selling the jeep now ..

it was all fixed and i have been driving it to and from work for about 3 weeks now and then yesterday it felt as if there was alot of play in the steering wheel, started pulling pretty bad again.

drove it this morning, same thing.. but now it seemed like bump steer was back. also it almost sounded like a train when driving at the speed of 10mph-35mph "cha cha cha cha" sound (lol).

idk if my BF is in a bad mood or w.e but i guess after all the work that was done before on it he told me he's tired of hearing about the problems. I'm guessing he doesnt want to fix it and im not trying to drop any more money into this thing right now after paying $2,000 for it and then almost another $1000 for repairs.

That's easy though, most likely a hub/wheel bearing on which ever side it likes to pull to or the sound is coming from. Can get them for about $75 a piece from your local parts store. Takes a few hours a piece, if you have the required tools.

And $3000 total into it, you've gotten off easy compared to some of us. lol

the other sound its making is a metal clacking noise... on my wrangler it was the U-joint but he said he checked the u-joints and they were fine.

ill see if he can check the bearings but if hes not going to fool with it im not trying to pay a shop lol.

thanks for that info though

i can take a look at it if you want. You'd have to drive down to me though (Arundel Mills)

sounds like a bad hub bearing to me - not a bad repair - hour long job to replace it. I just pulled one of mine this past weekend.
