I hear you there. My job in Michigan or Ohio is generally a mid 20/hour job, which is pretty damn good for that area, but here a mid 30/hour job means you barely break even. This area is not worth what everyone thinks it is. What the house I'm renting is valued at would buy you 3 times the house out west, and have better scenery and better places to wheel. Hence the reason I'm working on finishing my Aeronautical engineering degree and then moving to Utah. I can make twice the money I do now and live in twice the house and have half the amount of bills I do now, sounds good to me.
Would love to move back to Colorado or Wyoming, job market's tight out there though...

wow... now i dont feel so bad. i make 13/hr, my girl makes 12.50, combined 25.50/hr... supporting 5 people...it is rediculous. hey pulltab, what are certain criteria that need to be met for any of those jobs? im smart, a super fast learner, and i retain knowledge very well lol

ya coming here from NM where i could be buying a nice house for what i pay in rent for my 1 br apartment... i was also living at home in NM so 90% of my $ went into trucks lol...thats how i had a sick @$$ crawler...but gotta grow up sometime...

yeah gotta grow up, but dont have to live in an expensive *** state. i dont understand why it is so expensive.

That's awesome . My Grandson is 3 and plays like he's been here before. He learns from watching and listening to other drummers at church and on tv.

You seem to be pretty good with your hands, I'd put in for a Mechanics position....
Show up to work every day, work the required OT and you'll have a job for however long you want it

The only reason I can think is because of the proximity to DC. But who gives a ****, not like I want to be any closer to that stupid mother ****** ****** ***** **** **** ****** ***** than I have to be.
