I don't think you would see any direct improvement from the things to your cooling system.

ok. im just wondering because i got a lot of miles on my last tank and a big part of it was stop and go traffic. how come i have a 20 gallon tank and i fill up when the light comes on, but i only get about 14.5 to 15.5 gallons in it? why does my light come on so soon?

The light goes on at 1/8th of a tank, that's why you're only getting to put 14-15 gallons in

what do you mean 1/8th? 5 gallons left would be 1/4 left in there.

I'm sorry I meant 1/4, right around there is when mine goes on. Right after it drops below that line my light goes on

I believe most vehicle manufactures set the gas light so you have at least 50 miles of driving after it goes on.

There is also some fuel in the pickup. I'm not sure on the numbers, but even on Empty there's still fuel in the lines, etc.

You need my tank. The light comes on whenever it feels like it. I have a bad sensor. I've run out of gas three times because the light didn't tell me. Now that I have different size tires I'm unsure how many miles I get off of a full tank. Guess I'll test that put sometime.

I don't have a gas light. I also get horrible gas mileage currently, but I'm in need of a tune up.
