I've been saying "The Cherokee," "The XJ," "The Comanche," "The MJ," and 'the new Jeep,' as well as 'the old Jeep.' Everyone at work gave up trying to understand me.
Oh, and I trained my supervisor. He said "Your truck--oh, I mean your Jeep..." I told him it's okay to call it a truck now, cause it's a pickup lol

Your sig should read....
"Surely you can't be serious!?"
"I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."

Knew it, now could you inform me what exactly is wrong? I don't know technicalities.
True that, at school I say I have an XJ...then i say cherokee, they ask grand and I say no the old box style ha.
True that, got stuck in a monsoon storm there one time for 3 hours. came home soaked.
He could you get the 2 rear door panels (black leather) out of a black XJ in the back left for me?? I could come pick them up in a week or so when I come back down and pay

No carbon buildup on exhaust valve = Stuck/burnt valve.
Lower end is in EXCELLENT SHAPE # 5 cylinder had minimal scoring from valve stem fragments working it's way through. Could still see honing marks. Will be magnafluxing head to see if it was cracked or not.
There may have also been oil delivery problems to the upper end, all galleys were clear, pushrods were clogged.
I'm still not 100% convinced that this head is cracked, the PO got screwed on whoever did the job before Mava aquired vehicle.
Since we had head off, made perfect sense to put on a head that had no known issues.
