I don't know how it works once you add a second sub. Best system I've ever heard was in my buddy's WRX back home. His dad owned a shop, and his 16th bday gift was a comp-quality system. I think his dad said it was like $10k. Head unit had a pop-out display, and it controlled the music, the lights in and under the car, the airbag suspension, and everything else. Anyway, it hit sub-audible notes, so he pulled up next to the school and turned up the volume. We couldn't hear anything, but all the windows on that side of the building were rattling. Out of my price range, but I still wish... lol Oh, and the deal was the system was a bday present, but he had to let his dad put some decals on the car for his shop. So he wasn't totally spoiled
Anyway, I want accurate bass, but I want it to be loud and hit hard. My Kicker 10" gave me accurate bass, but only until I cranked the volume. If two 10s would fix that, I'll try it. If one or two 12s would be better, I'll do that. I'd rather have overkill and keep it turned down than have something I'm unhappy with.

Oh, and Steve.
I have 2 12s in my Lexus. They are JL audio, the only sub I use. You can listen to it. They are powered by 150watts. In a pickup, it would be insane. My 18 hits hard but the 12s probably are louder. I haven't measured them. I really think 2 10s or one 12 would be good.
