they were down firing, but you can trim in the middle where the amp sits and not affect anything. there's a lip on the bottom, so even if you mounted them against the back seat, you'd still get good sound

I'm in Jessup, I mostly listen to country/rock, they were never really pushed that much. They've been sitting in the garage for a while now, just trying to get rid of some stuff that I can't see myself using.
