ok,heres what i would do,do you have a mechanical shop your comfortable with? if so, call them and have them set up an appointment to tear it down for inspection, prior to this, go to a bodyshop that has been around awhile-(thats usually indicative of a reputable body shop) and get a written estimate for the body repairs only, that way when your insurance adjuster comes out--you will be locked-n-loaded, so that the adjuster can write his own estimate-----pheeewwww,,my fingers hurt, dont none of you fawkers pick-up a phone???

Liberty Mutual doesn't work that way. They use certain shops as their adjusters, and the shops that we've talked to said they won't pull the axle.
Dukie, I don't think the housing is bent either. My opinion is the shaft got tweaked and is causing the bearing howl. PM me that shop in Spencerville. I just left a voice mail with claims, my wife has been dealing with them up to this point. Sometimes she's a little too nice.

nevermind, I can't use it. forgot about my sub being there. guess it's a good excuse to start looking for a rear tire carrier.

I could use the rubber stopper that the hatch rests on.
