Good Afternoon All. Taking the XJ to get a bath, after sitting for a month she looks like a pollen holder. Also going to check one of the local JY to see if they have that wheel cap I need or a set <4> that will fit my XJ. It feels good to be back on the road again.
I went to Burger King and forgot the xj sounds like a diesel and I went thru drive in window, never heard the lady ask to take my order. I sat there very patiently and finally was able to place order. When i go to the window ,the lady says " I was waiting about 5 minutes for your order, but your truck is so loud , you should come inside" LOL. My Daughter and I had a good laugh.

Yeah. It's not a mechanical issue. Mike posted yesterday about the issue he and Scott encountered with the gasket size. If memory serves me correct the gasket is too long to fit properly and the ??? is tapping. I want to say valve cover gasket, but I could be wrong. Any who, I can at least drive it until the part is replaced. I promised I would not do any racing or jumping. HAHAHAha.

14 gauge wire (red and black), butt connectors for 14 gauge, butt connectors for 12 gauge, two terminal ends for 14 gauge, inline fuse. I got all the relay stuff. Shrink wrap. Pink color. Can get it at autozone. Comes in a roll. I get to keep everything that is left over since in doing it for free...
Sweet... you better be there lol
I got a mount and trac bar you can have shortly...
Dude, im only on a 3 inch lift and have gone to trails road, gotten on three wheels, done the rock gardern, and i still drove home. You gotta wheel with sense. Not just floor everything. You will be fine.
I doubt that you would get stuck enough that we wouldnt be able to get you out. Got a tow hitch? You got axles. So as long as you dont belly out in mud and dig yourself in, you will be fine lol
HELP! Anyone have a good stock frame side track bar bracket?
The one on my wife's Jeep is toast...got a nice case of death wobble on the beltway coming back from Frosty's the other day.
Got under it with a buddy steering and the axle is all over the place, tight on the axle end, wobbling in the hole on the frame end.

I got yanked out by the rear axle after this adventure. Completely stock, slid down into the hole sideways. Took 4 hours and 3 tow straps, 2 broken, to get it out. Oh, and was getting pulled by a full size chevy on 40's. lol

I usually carry 4 rods with me when I'm shore fishing, They're bass rods so 1.5" should do fine I'll measure them in a bit and give you an exact dimension.
