im surely gonna put a small jy lift on. like 3-3.5 inches. but idk what coils to use. in 2 weeks im buying new tires and i wanna buy the lift stuff at the same time. so im planning:

ZJ trac bar
s-10/blazer leaf springs for a bastard pack
some kind of coils
3 more goodyear wrangler all terrains(have 1)
on TJ canyon wheels

will my shocks need to be upgraded too? or can i stick with the OEM that i just replaced up front?

Stock shocks are only good up to 2" and only on the street at that. You'll need aftermarket. You can use the stock shocks from a JK Wrangler like I did.

are they bolt on? thats what im looking for. how much lift is it? i dont want a new drive shaft or t-case drop.

The shocks are bolt-on. You just have to press out the barpin from your old ones, and press it into the JK shocks. The shocks don't give you lift; they absorb bumps between the axles and the body. Your shocks have to have the proper lengths to work with whatever amount of lift you have. Those JK Wrangler shocks work with a 3" lift on an XJ because of the length.
