So on my research for winches I am pretty sold on syn winch line. However they say to unspool and dry after its wet. My question is ford a river wet or its on the front of the xj and I just drove to work in the rain wet?

I mean that's what I thought, I was trying to get away from having a huge cover over it with a logo all the time, but if I have to unspool it everytime it rains its not worth the extra money.

anyone have a spare one they want to let me use temporarily? I really need a bigger (higher amp) alternator but don't want to rush with the install because this one died.
