figured out that new i can get 3.5" leafs for about 180 dollars shipped. plus the 50 for the coils. just gotta find JK stock shocks on ebay or craigslist. and a ZJ trac bar. tires after all that. im thinking BFG AT 30x9.5r15's on my wrangler canyon wheels. may paint them black.
You want a ZJ tie rod, not a ZJ track bar. The tie rod isn't something you have to upgrade, bit it's recommended. You don't need to do it when you lift, though, if you're short on cash. You'll need an aftermarket adjustable track bar to center your axle under the Jeep.
Frosty, I'm sorry to see that. PO should be run over and dragged through the wheel well a few times.

Basically what I'm doing. (Where ya at, Green?)
Black Line-X from roof to rockers, and the inside floors. Red paint over the bedliner on the outside (leaving the rockers and bumpers black), so I have the durability of bedliner, but I can touch up scratches with rattlecan. Rubberized undercoating on the belly. And a fresh coat of not brown paint inside.

PT Mike, I attempted to replace the tank unit on my sister's '98 ZJ Limited. Dropped the tank and fought with the damn spring loaded unit, got it in and hooked up and now the Fuel gauge stays on empty. Doesnt that mean the circuit is open meaning no signal? What is weird is the old one would jump to empty and fluctuate if you were under a half tank and with a new unit now i cant get a reading. Tonight I am going to plug the old one in and see if I can get a reading by moving the float if I do then its back to the parts store to light that b*tch on fire lol after I look for some bad wires of course. Any insight or suggestions?
