I did it. Got the alternator in an even the PITA belt. Just got to get a new battery and fire her up. FYI that ground cable was an old one. I had to replace the ground cable awhile back and my buddy never removed the original from the harness.

That is good, but the more you talk about it or get technical...it won't last for long, lol... And if it does....marry her!
good deal man, and glad you got that wire figured out, lol, it not good to have big wires just hanging out in there if they supposed to be doing something... just sayin.

I hate to open this can of worms but johnny needs input...
looking to put together my recovery kit since at the moment all I have is a tow strap. Is there a single kit with everything I should have/need? or is it better to piece it together myself? and besides the following you suggest adding anything/whats the best to get?
****** block/blocks
recovery strap
tree saver
*I will have 4 d links on the jeep when the new rear bumper goes on but maybe need more?*
already got a jack
currently have an e-tool but looking to get a bigger shovel
*edit* winch will also be installed once the new bumpers get here.

anybody have a half decent small fridge they want to get rid of, am looking for one for my shop.. I cant convince my grandfather to give up his 1953 model Westinghouse fridge still running on ammonia. Thing is over 50 years old and still keeps stuff just on the verge of ice, never had a colder beer....
Alex, what're you doin with the old bumper?? can I get a photo? send it to me via phone if you can I'm going out to get my buzz on before my pointless class at 6:30

My priorities tomorrow:
1) Make sure she's solid under the hood (c101, too, if you're up for it)
2) CB radio install (have radio, and might borrow an antenna do test/verify functionality til mine gets here. Still need mount, spring, and coax.)
3) Remove leftover plow wiring/components.
EDIT: Is that the one in Jessup? If so, that works.
