Trying to get my wife back in the work force now. She did work for Royal Farms for a month, but here again the economy came into play. They run skeleton shifts and just threw her on a register with no training. That extra money she had coming in really helped...
Must be nice, aside from the past three weeks I hadnt seen a 40 hr week in months. The shop was cut to 32 a week since July.

I got a cheapy set when I bought my notcher but they lost teeth faster then a hillbilly, so I bought nice Milwaukee ones and have had no problems. I also slowed the press down.

Hack and Tap is a matter of of cutting tailshaft, drilling and tapping.
XJ or ZJ front driveshaft will work, depending on what you would need.
If I ended up lifting mine another 2", I have to go that route, cause I'm not lowering T/C

Just trying to keep up Stevo, not ignorin ya

I have just been trying to get ahead on bills now that I gained a car payment and I got my own insurance so I am not mooching off my folks. Its bad enough I still live here at 25 but I would be like someone else and living in the damn XJ at the lot at work. Wyotech and the economy really f*cked me. I graduated with a decent flat rate job at a bodyshop in Frederick and got laid off 3 months in. Out of 72 resumes I sent out I had 2 call backs and the one woman that called back I was almost offended by. She wanted to start me at 8 bucks an hour and I kindly explained that I needed to be making atleast 11 straight time to cover my bills *which is what I left at my old job* She yelled at me that this is what she hires people at that want to get started in autobody since they have to learn the ropes. I kindly reminded her that I was already ICAR Platinum certified but she didnt seem to understand what that meant, I let myself out lol I do pretty good doing sidework on the weekends, you guys will see once I paint a few rigs on here...

Since I am the only Shift Supervisor who put in a full year this year (one's supposedly leaving next week) should be enough this year to finish off the major projects on my ZJ and start the XJ on it's way...

If it wasn't for that, my Jeeps would be bone stock....
Good deal. I used to get a bonus twice a year but gave it up to become a manager. I too am working with just my income. I told my wife I would never ask her to work again. Now she is home schooling. I sell stuff to fund my projects. Lol.

Side work is what keeps me going when OT is slim....
Luckily with what I am doing now, it's a specialty field and Incinerators are willing to pay to keep good people
I'm probably going to get you to squirt my XJ when the time comes, I'll pay you for your time but I wanna give it a shot also...

Painting is easy, can you sweep side to side on an even parallel while holding a firearm? Then you can paint lol
