Thanks, when you come check the shop out you will have to see it. I got my harness and seat there, waiting to get some money together and go hack up a few VWs at MT airey CR's. Going with an Air cooled chatter machine. and then its the two big purchases, shocks/springs and wheels/tires.

Well time to go be productive. Trying to polish off my tire swing, or as much as I can do before the bumper supplies gets here.

Hey Ben I'm doing my lift next weekend and putting the TC from the '00 I bought yesterday into mine and pulling mine. I'll sell ya that one for like $75, nothing wrong with it and then you could pick up the Rugged Ridge HD SYE from PORC for 170. A little elbow grease and you'll have a nice '99 231J with a nice proper SYE in it.
sounds like a better route to go. I'd rather do that actually, get some experience and a chance to ruin some more t-shirts! Besides, I still haven't heard anything back yet from the other dude.
Anyone have a press or an easy way to change u-joints on a front ds? Apparently mine are on the way out and the shop here wants 300+ to replace them.
