don't laugh...my drivers side floor currently consists of....


pieces of last years halloween costume, held down with self tapping screws and bathroom caulk. I was the Tinman, and made a costume out of 22 gage stainless duct metal i found at Lowes.

This is my issue (see the leaf?)

I was just gonna caulk it til I can get it done, but if it'll only be a week or two, I may just yank the carpet and put the rubber floor mat back down

Crossmember looks good.... I'd cut everything out and put a new piece in there....

On a serious note, don't caulk it. It's a PITA to get up, and wreaks havok w/the welder...
Duct Tape it until we can get a new piece of metal in there...

That's the plan. Full new pans are like $130 each, that has to wait though...

Got it. Floor won't be caulked. Duct tape, and if the carpet doesn't dry tomorrow, that section's getting cut.
