I found these 2 lovely spots today. Oh to joy....

Spot one is on the frame

Spot 2 is above the leaf spring in the floor board

At the shop getting looked at right now. Not what I wanted to see today.

Like Silent, I inspected rust today. Pulled back the pass side carpet to see my floorpan. Posted pics in 'What'd You Do Today' here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/wh...0/#post1307113

Even if it has SYE, it wouldn't work on my D35, right? None of the little stuff would help my '01.

BTW, Doc, just wondering if you found a job yet. Not that I can help with that...
lol, a lot would be different from yours, but if it had one then all that would really matter is the transfer case, not your rear axle. If you have a 231 like that one prob does then you would be ok. You only have to worry bout which axle when measuring for the drive shaft, that would make the difference. you may not be able to use that one...

but hell yeah that is a good find. if i had a place to put it I would def jump on it and part it out. Couple my friends up in hagerstown with diesels, they like to take stuff to scrap yard...

where there is a will there is a way
anything can be fixed, its all about the amount of time and effort that you want to put into it

Got one..... put in a req for a new one though, this one may not make it through your project.

The next time you drive up Rt 1 can you let me know if the steel yard is still there??? It's right at the intersection of Rt 1 and Rt 100 (Blvd sales)
