Correct. think of it this way: You are eliminating the slip yoke from the rear tailcone of the TC. You have to add that slip back in which is done with the use of a front DS which has the slip built in.
You are basically making the rear just like the front.

The front doesn't have a slip yoke. You're eliminating the slip yoke in the rear by making it use the same system as the front.
