I thought about doing this too. Weld some reinforcement into the inside of the fenders and mount external hinges on the front doors. Then fab some tube doors that could use those hinges too. Just don't know if they'll be strong enough to hold the weight of the stock door with all that **** in them. They're fawking heavy!!!

If I am not mistaken all you need is at least 2 mirrors and you need to have "inspectable handles" so if your doorless you need a oh **** handle on the drivers side and you should be clear

Except in Ocean City, its illegal by City Ordinance to be doorless in anything that has doors from the factory

§ 23-104. Minimum standards for equipment.

(a) Equipment enumerated.- Every vehicle driven on the highways in this State shall, where applicable, have the following equipment, meeting or exceeding the standards established jointly by the Administration and the Division: brakes, steering, suspension, horn, door handles, mirrors, tires, exhaust system, lights, glazing, windshield wipers, odometer, speedometer, bumpers, properly aligned wheels, wheels and wheel lugs, fenders, floor pans, hood, hood catches, emissions equipment, fuel system, front seat, motor mounts, gear selection indicator for automatic transmissions, universal joints, and seat belts or combination seat belt-shoulder harness if required as original equipment under § 22-412 or § 22-412.1 of this article.

The bottom line is: its illegal to have doors and no handles, but if you don't have doors how can you have handles? Bikes don't have door handles....

Also the minimum requirements statute reads "A person may not willfully or intentionally remove or alter any safety device or equipment that has been placed on any motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer in compliance with any law, rule, regulation, or requirement of any officer or agency of the United States or of this State, if it is intended that the vehicle be operated on highways in this State, unless the removal or alteration is permitted by rule or regulation adopted by the Administrator."

Doors are not considered safety equipment. ALL FEDERAL REGULATED/MANDATED SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS ALWAYS REPLACED NEVER REPAIRED

Bodyshop repairs your doors don't they?
