Let me think about this out loud for a moment. If I remember correctly HP vs LP gears spin different directions so I wouldn't be able to use the RP I purchased in December. So I'd need to buy new gears and a master rebuild kit. Other items should be interchangeable other than hubs but that would depend on the year.
Also would need to sort out where to store this during the rebuild process. Pretty sure HOA and the wife don't want this sitting on the patio.
Certainly seems like the route I should take...

And yes, latex gloves are a LIFESAVER
