What I'm upset about is the fact that he looked me dead in my face and told me mechanically it was completely sound. I've tried to contact him with no response. You guys think what you want. I knew where 2 other and MUCH nicer XJ's were for the money Kevin was asking and me being me I tried to help Kevin out and sold mike on his jeep and now I'm standing here looking like an ******* and Kevin is afraid to man up and at least contact me

I want to talk to you about my front bumper while I have you Saturday. I want to be able to cut out the front cross member behind the bumper so I can mount a hidden winch....and want to be able to mount shackle mounts up front (yes, I am going to leaf spring my XJ).....
With that said. I have 6 feet of 2" 1/4 wall DOM sitting here at my house. This stuff sells for almost $20 a foot. I will sell 6 feet of it for $75 if anyone wants it to make long arms. I was going to, but changed my mind.

I hate how much winch bumpers stick out....not a fan of limiting approach angles. I have a buddy who did it....heck, 3/16" steel is stronger than the core support. He built a bracket inside, with bumper mounts on the outside, so the frame on both sides was sandwiched, and the core support basically ended up being replaced with a winch plate mounted horizontally rather than the vertical core support.
