I'd go with 15x8 unless you're gonna run more than 12.5" wide tires. I'll be going with 8" wide wheels when I build the MJ (I had 10" wheels on the XJ with 12.5s)

Lol he doesn't wanna give up his wheels. I get that. I wouldn't run spacers as a temporary fix before new wheels, though. You can get used wheels cheaper than spacers.

Spacers scare me. He can run 33x10.5. Stubborn engineers.

when I lift it I would like to run 33s. is 10.5 the widest tire i can run on 15x8s? I don't think I ever want to get bigger tires than 33s, even if I lift more.

12.5 is no problem on 8s. It's very common, and most people recommend a 15x8 over a 15x10.

???? what size is the torx bolt that holds the motor mount to the block?? anyone?? as mine has one torx on each side.
