Wow, that's the most I've ever understood from you Steve. Thanks for clarifying. My problem code is 1899 which indicates a faulty NSS. So I replaced it. Still spitting that code. Dukie, help!

I forget who was saying what, or what was said. but when I put the lift on, what new hardware should I get for my jeep. Shock bolts I think was on the list. I probably should get new bushings as well for the stuff up front. I'm going to make a list of all the stuff I need to get so I can start stockpiling it until I put it on.

Leaf spring bolts. I recommend having at least one, but you may want to replace them all once you see what the old ones look like. It's a stealership-only part.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind replacing most of the hardware. I don't want to tear apart the jeep to lift it, and then have to order stuff to replace before we can put it back together. It is a DD. unless I could see about borrowing a car from someone (like my family or something) I know If we were to do the lift at Frosty's or someones down there I can go to my brothers for a night if it takes 2 days.

I replaced the bolts on my upper control arms where they mount to the axle. They have this weird nut on them that stripped. Don't remember what size I used. Also you want to get bolts for the upper rear shock mount. They are known to break. I installed my lift in six hours with four of us working on it with air tools.

Watching the GP2 race...patiently waiting for the F1 race to start.
Thinking about going to crazy ray's today if the rain holds off.

Mark,
First off, did you apply for an extension?
Make sure all of your wires are not knicked. Also check the connector plug and make sure it is clean. Sounds like something is not making a good enough connection for the computer to read a good NSS

Thanks for the input Mike, we now have until August. That only cost 44 dollars. We were pretty late. I will take a look at the wires. I will also remove Nss and clean both plug and terminal. I will post results. Thanks.

Friggin Maryland
At one time you used to be able to get a 90 day extension for nothing....
Did you clear the code with a reader or the old fashion way???

Ooooh. Good point. The old fashioned way. Anyone have a reader that can clear codes?
