that is a good idea, just cut out a small square in the front of it and modify a winch plate in it somehow... I would like that... may have to get the tape out and check on a couple things...
But that video seems like a good time...oh boy in the stocker was givin it hell wasn't he? lmao, and the danger ranger! look out...

you can see what I was talkin about, this is my buddies JK, with me posing on it, lol....
But his winch plate is welded and bolted upside down on the frame rails...to completely hide it and just has the roller fairlead out there...looks good...

Just move all of that forward and put the box in there....Hmmm
thanks, at first he wanted to pull up on mine, so i had to remind him I have fenders making it less tire sticking out, and how much easier and better it would look for mine to crawl on top...

I was actually looking at his earlier today, and i really like em. Especially those last pictures where that guy welded up the whole custom guard that looks good, but that is also where i kinda want my winch to be little lower and less up in the grill...
If i am going to continue to be picky then i may have to cut mine up and do what mike has suggested...kinda one them why didn't i think of that moments, lol...

Just move all of that forward and put the box in there....Hmmm

Or you can go with the one that dukie posted a link to, have talked with the guy making them, he can customize them to your liking. I plan on buying one of his for my Cherokee, not going through the hassle of building another one from scratch

Lol, not much difference, but like i said a min ago i like the tapered sides of the JCR, seemingly to follow the body line... and would still like to drop the winch just a tad...but that just my likings...
Edit: don't seem to be room to drop it much from that picture though...not without makin the whole thing hang too low...

Ok, I haven't chimed in on this trip yet. I'd love to go, I think y'all know that. Today I got my rock sliders in and my truss for my rear end. I put alloys in the rear now just waitin to weld in the truss. Not sure yet if I'm going Sunday. But on that RC trip in January for sure. Saw everyone talkin bout front bumpers, check L&L fab. Chris made my front pre-runner winch bumper and I love it. Anyhow, I'll let you guys know tomorrow about Sunday.
