They are hefty. I will have to look, I think they are the same size as stock as far as lube capacity. I heard its bad to overfill if you have a high capacity cover. Which is kinda confusing....if you cant put more then the recommended amount why make hi cap covers?

If you over fill, it will come out the tube seals. what happens (probably) is that the hi cap diffs offer more horizontal volume to be filled, not vertical. like take a cylinder that is 3 inchs high and 2 inches wide... they prolly open it up to 3 inchs high and 2.75 inches wide... make sense?

how many are you thinking of running? mind you they are 100w's... 400 watts up top? besides, how often are you going to use them? most of the wheeling in md involves low trees, etc... and you can never run them on the road... i dont see the use for them. unless md is a desert state with lots of dust...

Hey Justin, make sure you point the shims the correct direction on your leaf packs. LOL Remember how long we were looking at mine making sure we did it correctly? Haha.

just some quick math for you (v=voltage, a=amps, w=watts)

formula to find current draw;

w/v=a so 400watts/12volts=33amps

your gonna need a bigger alternator and some thick *** wire...

I agree with Jake on this about the use of rack mounted lights. The highest I would mount them is on the pillars. ALso it says that it doesnt come with a relay which you need. So add on about $70 for a relay rated for the power they are going to draw. For that price you can find PIAAs on sale like I did which are A: brighter B: all wiring is included with a relay.

I got a pair of PIAA 6 1/4" 135 watt lights for 200 bucks.
