thats what i need Dukie--that adapter,but there aint no spare pieces--its a 242 t/c so the t/c end was-well the original d-shaft is on the right--no flange--*****-fu-ker i cant catch a break!

no Jon, actually that dirtbound kit will work,different kinda flange then what i got-one would think that the fu-kin kit would be complete??

to use your the XJ front shaft with that kit you need to buy the adapter
Spicer flange 211229X, or Precision part #627 - it's like $55 at NAPA or O'Reillys.
