I have everything you have, except for the high flow cat. I have Super 40 Flowmaster and mandrel bent tailpipe, and there is a huge difference in our sound

I am however looking for a mandrel bent tailpipe for my black XJ, and am having no luck finding one that isn't in a kit

Mine is from Mandrel Bending Solutions in Pasadena.

They had mine pre-bent and waiting for me to pickup, so I'm guessing they have a template stored for it.

It's back up and running. You'll hear it next time. Have a Super 44 Offraod for my black XJ, no cat, and will get a mandrel bent tailpipe for it also.

so do you think just getting new 2.5" piping on mine would help a lot? and keep the 2.25" muffler?

I would. Just use an adapter to neck up, or fit the tailpipe over the outlet like mine is.

Just got back from Joppa. Mike's a lazy *** and hasn't pulled any parts yet

On the way back, I saw a clean black late-model XJ with 3-4" of lift, rolling on at least 22s. I think they were 24s. Of course, three cars behind him was a Hummer H1 Alpha with just a little bit of green poking through all the brown.

True statement. So I'm backing out now and may just show up on the 26th unannounced.
