so, let me start anew! i have a 00 XJ classic-auto-242 t/c, we installed a 3.5 rc superride full kit-with 1.5" frt coil spacers-33x12.5's on 10.5x15 steelies and had a lo speed wobble, didnt push it,made a 2" t/c drop, rode like a dream!! was told "Bad Kimshi", so we did the hack-n-tap,with a 00 XJ frt d-shaft,no wobble, but just the weirdest buzz,in the vehicle? which i didnt have with my BIG 2" drop? i got the new to me frt d-shaft from a part-out, and it had jk writing on it?, should i re-drop the t/c 1" and try it, or is that still not recommended? Tom Woods is on my bucket list, but its a 55 gallon bucket!!!
And next time I am at Crazy Rays, will get you that crossmember

Steve....you say the DS came from a junkyard? Like had JY writing on it?
It is MORE than likely the shaft in that case. If you have been to the yards, they throw those vehicles around on their bellies with utter disregard. Fubar's a lot of the shafts. Many driveline shops will balance them for $50.

I start night shift next week, and I'm working this coming weekend, too. Anyone up for a midnight showing of Avengers on Thurs night/Friday morning?
