Didn't that clip start cause a viewer wrote in saying they don't do practical tests?

I am sure you would need motor/harness and some GM to Jeep Motor mounts.

Then a tranny and adapter...probably a T-case unless you wanted to subject a chain driven one to the torque of an LS1.

It has been done and there are plenty of write-ups.

SEARCH!

I am thinking about $5k is what you need.

I have heard of and seen the Marauder....but Holy SH$T....never seen that test. 7lbs of C4 and it drives OUT of the CRATER? Impressive.

I guess we are not using those instead of Hummers in the Army because....??

Research it. I did. I was going to buy a 1990 for it's rust free-ness and swap in MY drivetrain. After researching it, I decided it was NOT worth it.

By the time you have done all that work, you could have gone to an entirely different drivetrain....like a 350 with simple TBI....

Because the Marauder costs a civilian $600k. That means it would cost the government around $1m each in a contract. Our MRAPs cost half as much.

My turn, Alex!

All crew survived, and the MRAP drove back to base with three wheels:
