It could have been a lot worse. Luckily a ratchet strap held everything together until he got to the gas station.
I was talking with him, he was planning on sleeving his axles, had the parts at his house

i was going to be underneath the "roll" - so like his wife i turned the camera; so i could run.. i think you can hear me say "oh shi*" lol

as much as i like taking videos of oncoming things, im not keen to being rolled on by a jeep or any other vehicle for that matter..

That's rough. I'm really glad I didn't take mine out there after seeing those pics. I haven't gotten stuck yet, despite some stupid decisions, but I'm not sure I would've made it home with a broken axle and a bleeding oil pan.

some nice shots there Doc!
I can't wait to see some of the videos, wished someone was taking video when that snap was heard though, that would just add to the pictures.... luckily he has the truck that he can drive and don't have to drive the JK everyday...

I believe he was climbing the waterfall when he did that. He had to have come down HARD for that to happen.... One way or the other we would have gotten him out....

Yeah he would have never made it out of there without that... and seriously he has had the sleeves and c-gussets for what has to be a year, just hasn't put them in... mainly cause we aren't pro-welders, and that is something that you want to be right, ya know.

he was, lmao, and was wanting me to follow him up... I wasn't really feeling that confident though, lol. The odd thing was he didn't "come down" on anything, he was just up against the bank and was stuck, so he kept pushing it and was just in too tight of a spot...
the down tree really wasn't helping...

ok, so i looked at that video again..

i def say oh shi* but if you watch close and pause it at the right sec you can see the vehicle lifted off the ground, then its just me running and then him back on the ground... just so you know its very hard to pause it cause its between the 40 sec and 41 sec marker

Hey, I read your post about the ASE sign for a floorboard. Did they do that at the shop to get it through inspection???
