if all you need is the housing (and yours is bent) i'll give you a good deal on the housing I have taking up space in my shed. The gears are what I bought it for (i'll have to remove them for you) but it's in good shape with all the brackets and such, just no knuckles or axle shafts. It's the disco axle, but its HP and the disconnect port has been blocked off

Are they weaker? I'd like to stay with non disco. But prolly the same thing.. I'll know more when I take my jeep to get aligned.

no the ujoints on the shafts are weaker, and came with the 3 piece shafts (which I do not have anyways). But it's been converted for the 2 piece shafts with the bigger joints (just swap in your shafts). In it's current form the only difference would be the vacuum motor box on the back of the passenger side tube

Because of the CAST uppers and area of the disconnect....the housing itself is stronger.

Can you truss disco housings? I think I would truss it some while its out just for extra measure.
