Cowl snorkels are good, aside from the snorkel function the fact that the area at the bottom of the windshield is one of the lowest pressure zones of the vehicle means cold smooth air which means

The typical XJ CAI is actually a hot air intake since it places the filter above the exhaust manifold....silly.

Yep, and I don't think I would put one of the actual snorkels on, plus is has some function which clearly helped dukie out when I went wheeling with ya guys. don't think I'll ever go that deep in water

Alex, about the ECU hack... maybe, just maybe I could figure it out. May take me, my mom and my dad but if anyone could do it, it'd be my dad with my mom. If it's electrical they got it and if it's a inline-6, my dad is a nut about it...like i had said before though, he doesn't want to touch my rig for some reason so it'll take convincing.
