just an FYI though - I like my intake in the above picture, but my mileage definitely drops when I have it on. Yours will be even worse since it's directly above the exhaust manifold. I need to fab up a shield for it to work better - I advise you to do the same, and to put a longer pipe on it. I have some dimensions from another guy, but haven't tried them out yet.

I have the Rustys Airtube with a 9" K&N conical in place of the factory airbox.
There was a noticeable difference in mpg and hp. But this is coming from someone that has one installed.

My thing is, if your going to mod the intake or anything for that matter why not make it work better? with a few bucks worth of tubing from HD you can have a smooth intake tube with a cone filter which is much better then ribbed anything. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, I see so much stuff done on this forum that is shotty and with 10 min worth of thought would look and perform much better.
